The Quarta Caffe' company was founded in the 1950s with a small coffee roasting company located inside a bar in the historical center of Lecce. Since the beginning, the coffee roasting company has distinguished itself in terms of high quality of coffee which is destined to become a coffee symbol for a territory, known as Salento. Industrialization will then begin in the 1970s investing in the best technologies and state-of-the-art plants.Historically, the company has always had the provinces of Lecce, Brindisi and Taranto as its main end market and it has recently established its presence in the provinces of Bari and Foggia. Its products can also be found in most Italian regions, although not uniformly, and are also known and appreciated in Greece, Albania, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, England, Cyprus, the United Arab Emirates, Finland, the Netherlands and France. The future aims of the company are the strengthening and the enlargement of its traditional end markets; it also plans to expand nationally and internationally.
